home the gallery artists calendar art classes contact SALLY MOOK A Blacksburg Resident since 1954, Sally Mook is an artist, volunteer, and retired nurse who lives near the edge of the Jefferson National Forest. She began painting seriously in 1990 and has shown her work in dozens of one-woman, cooperative and juried group exhibitions. Sally enjoys painting most any subject in most any medium using her imagination or real life and a wide range of colors and techniques. Her paintings have won numerous awards and are included in collections throughout the U.S.A. and in several foreign countries. |
