FRIEDA  POST

With a background in education, textiles and jewelry, Frieda entered the world of painting. She studies at the Studio School in Roanoke and takes workshops from well known artists and teachers. Her paintings in watermedia, mixed media and pastel reflect her love of the outdoors and her travels. The patterns, shapes and colors seen in nature are interpreted both realistically and abstractly.

Frieda has participated in group shows, individual shows and juried shows. Her work is in private collections in the U.S., Europe and Japan.
